I was editing this inlet: http://activecaptain.com/localknowledge/66509 Interestingly, my latest submission now has the blank lines back in but when I was previewing the change (i.e. I had submitted the change and it was showing as a pending edit), it showed no line breaks. So it does indeed look l...

This is so new it hasn't been announced...

We had to make a decision about the services - we can't tell which facilities have which services. We decided to error on having a business in too many services and let all boaters edit the listings and tell us to remove the business from a service it doesn'...

eBoatCards makes heavy use of Ajax technologies which messes up many browser back buttons. It takes time to correct - it's definitely on the list. I felt it we more important to get the capabilities out first and clean up things like that later.

There a bug - take the double quotes out of your name and it'll work fine. We know that there are some characters that cause this.

When I say "take the double quote out" - I mean, edit your profile and remove them from your boat's name.

How do I make a friend request? Thank you

Go to the person's eBoatCard. Click "Add to Friends" at the top. That'll send the request and notify the other boat. Once they confirm the friend request, you'll get a notification.

There seems to be a problem with this group: http://www.eboatcards.com/lower-hudson-river/ - it's title looks like it's been set to a URL.

The new locations feature seems to be working well. One thing that seems to be missing though is the ability to see all your friends on a map. Going to 'Friends' and clicking 'Location' does the sam...

The way to see your friend's location is to go to their card and click on their Location item - just like you can see their blogs, friends, photos, etc.

And you're a step ahead of me too! We're adding a checkbox to your Location display that says, "Show Friends". When that is checked, it'll also sh...
